Extraction:
Thyme oil is extracted from the fresh or partly dried flowering tops and leaves of the plant by water or steam distillation.

Chemical Composition:

The main chemical components of thyme oils are a-thujone, a-pinene, camphene, b-pinene, p-cymene, a-terpinene, linalool, borneol, b-caryophyllene, thymol and carvacrol.

Thyme oil blend well with Bergamot, clary sage, cypress, eucalyptus, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, lemon balm, marjoram, peru balsam, pine, rosemary, tea tree.
